On the Cotswolds edge, in a picturesque, rural location by the Stroudwater Canal, all 8 of the properties are within a small, private English country estate, all walking distance from each other.

Open all year, 8 properties, 1 with level access and a spacious apartment in the west wing of the Manor house, can sleep from 3 to 12 individually or up to 52 (58 using sofa beds) if combined.

There is easy access from the A38 or M5 junction 13 to many places of interest and activities. The nearest pub/restaurant is under a mile (approx 10 mins walk) in the scenic neighbouring village of Frampton-on-Severn. More restaurats/pubs and shops are within 2-10 miles.

Catering for special parties can be arranged in either of the two party rooms available with certain groups of cottages, with fireworks, wines on sale or return etc.

Large friends and family reunions, well behaved stag and hen parties, honeymoons, birthday parties, children and pets welcome in most of the cottages.



  • A spacious Apartment in the West Wing of the Manor House offers generous accommodation for larger parties.
  • If booked together with the Old Stables can accommodate groups of 16 -18 & together with the Lodge & Church Cottages 26 - 28.
  • A range of spectaclar Fireworks at competitive prices can be ordered in advance for special celebrations and Wines are available on sale or return.
  • Ample parking in the yard.
  • The West Wing also has private use of an extensive lawn with triple bay BBQ & some lawn games.

  • 1st floor: The large Sitting room is the old family schoolroom with attractive panelling and a large open log fireplace, with colour TV/video/DVD & telephone, leading to the semi-ensuite double bedroom with kingsize bed & bathroom with electric shower over the bath, & a small kitchen/breakfast room fully equipped with electric cooker, M/W, F/F, D/W, W/D. etc.
  • Also a further 2 bedrooms on the same floor, a twin bedroom with basin, & double bedroom with 4 poster bed & basin.
  • 2nd floor: 2 double bedrooms, another twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a separate shower room. A large kitchen fully equipped for 12+ including D/W, F/F, M/W, W/D, electric cooker etc. Large separate dining room to seat 12+ with an extra seated area & 2nd TV.
  • Heating: oil fired central heating during winter months & reasonable use of hot water all year round is included only for this property. Extras: Logs @ £3.50 per large bag, BBQ if used, Wines - House Red & White on sale or return @ £4.99e, & Sparkling @ £6.99, or a much wider choice from the Cellars.
  • Electricity & telephone use are charged as per the meter readings – no coins required.
  • N.B. This Apartment is best suited to Adult groups. The property is not ideally suited for toddlers/young children as there are wide, high landings and a small river flowing through the garden. If, however, you wish to bring young children to The West Wing then a letter of indemnity is required by the owners. Babies in cots should be fine..
    Pets generally not allowed in this property or the Old Stables, but occasional exceptions for special very cases.
    All of the other properties accept pets, if required.
  • The PARTY ROOM & Conservatory off The Old Stables, is available to use together with the West Wing & other near cottages for larger groups - seats 18 to 50+. Catering can be arranged. There is also Table Tennis, CD Player

    be booked for: Lectures / Work Groups / small Conferences etc. - for mid-week breaks, as available, & Catering can be arranged to suit your programme.
