The Shippen is one of four individually designed self-catering holiday cottages of varying sizes that have been converted from two traditional stone barns dating from the eighteenth century.  Tastefully restored and enjoying fantastic views across the valley. Benefiting from outstanding south facing views over some of the finest countryside in Cornwall.

Furnished with traditional pine. Electricity, including heating, and bed linen (duvets) provided.

A travel cot is available by prior arrangement.

There is ample off road parking and a garden with separate patio furniture for each cottage.

Two barbecues are provided for use by guests.

This is a working farm and the owners would be delighted to tell you all about the Markwell pedigree Suffolk flock, suckler beef herd, commercial sheep, ponies and the goats which are all on the farm.

  • Bedroom 1 has a double bed with en-suite shower room and large balcony.
  • Bedroom 2 has twin beds, shower room, exposed beams have been retained to enhance the character, with patio doors leading to a large balcony.
  • This cottage is of traditional design, with french windows leading into the living room on the ground floor.
  • Exposed beams complement the large, traditional kitchen and pine furniture.
  • There is a full size electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and colour TV with VCR, Radio/CD player.
  • Use of a shared washing machine.
  • Pets are welcome at a charge of £10.00 each per week.
