Set in the grounds of the Portsonachan Hotel on the banks of Loch Awe. The Loch is 27 miles long and fresh water. It is a wonderful location for boating, fishing, water skiing etc. Loch Awe has premiere fishing for trout, with the record for the UK's largest brown trout at over 31lb. Boat hire is available. Mountain bikes can also be hired from the hotel and mooring is also available.

Wonderful walks around Glen Coe and Glen Orchy.

The hotel features a waterside restaurant, The Cruachan Restaurant, providing modern Scottish cuisine created with local produce.

Pets are welcome at a charge of £2.50 each per day.

There are a total of 31 lodges and apartments at Portsonachan 5 x 3 Bed Lodges (7/8), 2 x 2 Bed Hillside Lodges (6), 2 x 2 Bed Coach House Apartments (6), 6 x 1 Bed Coach House Apartments (4), 10 x 1 Bed Lochside Suites (4), 2 x 1 Bed Hillside Lodges (4), 4 x Studio Coach House Apartments (2).
